The US first lady, Melania Trump was booed when she took the stage at a youth event in Baltimore yesterday. “Hello, everyone,” Mrs Trump said as she tried to talk through sustained boos at the start of her brief remarks. The jeering subsided, then restarted as she concluded by telling the audience: “Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. May God bless you, your families and the United States of America.” — Reuters

Celine Dion Scores First No. 1 Album

Pop superstar Celine Dion debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with her new studio album Courage. The set, which was released on Nov. 15 via Columbia Records, earned 113,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Nov. 21 in the U.S., according to Nielsen Music. Victoria’s Secret cancelling it’s annual fashion show

Victoria’s Secret will be cancelling it’s annual fashion show. The brand has encountered some trouble in the last few years; lack of diversity in their products, marketing and shows, being a few of them. According to Hello Beautiful online magazine, The brand’s chief financial officer Stuart Burgdoerfer, says the annual show does not hurt their holiday sales so cancelling this year will not affect revenue. Sales might go unharmed but there has been a drastic decline in viewership of the runway show over the years. Perhaps people are tired of the lack of diversity and inclusion.
